Customer Borrowing Agreement

The terms governing every piece borrowed from the archive.

This Customer Borrowing Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between you (“Customer”) and Vindtia (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and governs the rental and temporary use of all items borrowed from Vindtia. By creating an account and/or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below.

1. Nature of Service

Vindtia provides customers with access to curated vintage and designer clothing on a temporary basis. All items remain the sole property of Vindtia at all times.

2. Condition of Items Upon Delivery

Each item is inspected and documented prior to shipment. Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photo evidence.

3. Customer Responsibility & Duty of Care

You agree to handle all items with extreme care and avoid damage, stains, alterations, or improper cleaning.

4. Return Condition Requirements

Items must be returned in the same condition as received, free of damage, stains, or alterations. Items must not be cleaned or dry cleaned by Customer to avoid damage to the piece.

5. Damage, Loss, or Theft

If an item is damaged beyond normal wear, you are responsible for repair costs. If lost, stolen, or irreparably damaged, you are responsible for the full replacement value. Determination is at Vindtia’s discretion.

6. Assessment & Charges

You will be notified before any charges are applied. Charges may include cleaning, repair, or replacement costs. By purchasing, you authorize payment for such charges.

7. Payment Authorization

A valid payment method must remain on file and may be charged for rental fees, late fees, and damage costs.

8. No Ownership Rights

All items remain property of Vindtia and must be returned.

9. Limitation of Liability

Vindtia is not responsible for fit issues or subjective dissatisfaction.

10. Late Returns & Fees

All rental pieces must be shipped back by the last day of your rental period or you may be subject to fees included but not limited to a late fee of 15% the single item rental price or the full retail cost of the single rental item.

11. Agreement Acknowledgment

By checking out, you agree to all terms and accept financial responsibility for borrowed items.

This Agreement is presented for acceptance at sign-up and before every rental checkout. By reserving a piece or subscribing to a membership, you agree to these terms. Questions? Email info@vindtia.com.
