Archive Couture, Reimagined

The Finest Fibres in the World.
Vicuna, baby cashmere and the world's rarest natural fibres, woven into the quietest of luxuries.
The House
Though the Loro Piana family had traded wool since the early nineteenth century, the modern company was founded in 1924 by Pietro Loro Piana in Quarona, beginning six generations of devotion to the finest natural fibres.
From its Piedmont mills the house built a reputation for sourcing and weaving the rarest materials on earth, baby cashmere from Mongolia, vicuna from the Andes, and the most precious merino wools.
In 1994 Loro Piana became a pioneer in vicuna, later partnering with Peruvian communities to source the 'fibre of the gods' only from living, free-roaming animals, setting a global standard for sustainability.
The house perfected the philosophy of quiet luxury long before the phrase existed: no logos, no spectacle, only the unrivalled softness, warmth and integrity of its cloth.
Today Loro Piana stands as the ultimate expression of understated Italian excellence, where true luxury is felt in the hand rather than seen on the label.
